Mechanism and rationale

LOOK: hurdle run as a prep for a handicap chase, and it was in the lower half.

The rule

(race_type = 'Chase' AND region = 'GB' AND is_handicap = 1 AND is_novice = 0 AND last_race_type = 'Hurdle' AND days_since_last_run <= 45 AND prior_chase_runs >= 2 AND (last_position IS NULL OR last_position >= 4) AND sp_decimal <= 15) AND l_entry_speed_pct IS NOT NULL AND NOT (l_entry_speed_pct >= 0.5)

Reads: race_type, region, is_handicap, is_novice, last_race_type, days_since_last_run, prior_chase_runs, last_position, sp_decimal, l_entry_speed_pct

Pre-registration

Spec hash (sha256 of the canonical pre-spec): not designed yet
Frozen: not frozen; The definition can still change.

Broad: (race_type = 'Chase' AND region = 'GB' AND is_handicap = 1 AND is_novice = 0 AND last_race_type = 'Hurdle' AND days_since_last_run <= 45 AND prior_chase_runs >= 2 AND (last_position IS NULL OR last_position >= 4) AND sp_decimal <= 15) AND l_entry_speed_pct IS NOT NULL AND NOT (l_entry_speed_pct >= 0.5)

No attacks yet. Only promising ideas are attacked.

Sealed holdout (vault)

Not queried. Only a frozen idea can spend its one query against the 2020-25 holdout.

Forward record

No forward record. Shadow tracking starts after the vault and counts only races run after the freeze.

Lineage

No parent and no descendants yet. When an agent mutates, generalises or splits this idea, the new hypotheses appear here.

Agent runs

No agent has worked on this yet.
